Email Marketing


Email marketing is one of the digital skills one should posses in order to market product or services online. Here are notes I have noted during AjiraDigital training:

1. Clear and informative


Ambiguous profiles or statements will cost your time and no one would have time for that. Aim at creating awareness on the chosen subject.

2. Make it clear whom its from


We fear the unknowns right, unknown number calling or messages from unknown. Bridge the gap between you and the reciever by introducing yourself. This will bring common grounds and luckly miscarry prejudice.

3. Avoid CAPS and exclamation marks


All caps is screaming online, have some nettiquette don't bombard someone's inbox with all caps letters. This is over use of emphasis. No one likes to be screamed at so they will leave without getting the content.

4. Write to an individual


How you address your audience is extremely crucial. B2C died now its H2H, when you are a business you are  not dealing with customers as an asset, you are human dealing with another human. Behave like an ordinary interaction all will be cool.

5. Keep content short


Sharp and precise. There is so much being shared I only have 3 minutes for you. Utilize the time frame.

6. Encourage reader to act.


Engage the audience to do something it can be to buy something, read or join. Convince by telling them what they will rip out of it not by empathy alone.

In simple involve the customer by
                "See, think do and care"
People see pictures Earlie than words, use appropriate visual illustrations, then make them think about your subject it can be by challenging their comfort zone, out of this they will react and then keep in touch, that's the easiest way to show you care.
